How It Works, Exactly.
No traps. Here's everything you need to know before referring someone.
The Rules
- Your referral must mention your name when they first reach out — or you can email us directly at will@techdadmedia.com with their name and business before they contact us.
- The referral credit locks in after the referred client completes their first payment — not after the contract is signed. This protects everyone.
- Credits are applied to your next invoice. They don't expire, and they can stack (multiple referrals = multiple credits).
- "Free month" rewards apply to your current active plan at the time the credit is earned — no retroactive upgrades.
- The Alliance Bonus (3 referrals in a calendar year) counts January 1 through December 31. We track it — you just send the referrals.
- You must be an active client to participate. Referring someone to sign up when you're not a current client doesn't qualify — but it does mean you should probably book a call.
- One referral credit per unique new client. Referring the same business twice doesn't double-count.
